Rooting for Science: Rabbits Dig into Learning!

Angela Kang

The Rabbits class recently enjoyed a wonderful hands-on learning experience with Ms. Viktoriia and Ms. Kallie, visiting a local farming field to explore how vegetables are cultivated and grown. This exciting trip allowed students to connect their Science lessons with real-life observations, seeing first-hand how biology works in the open fields. The pupils had the opportunity to plant potatoes and observe the early stages of plant development. It was a meaningful and memorable way to understand the growing process and the care that goes into farming. The learning doesn’t stop there—soon, the Rabbits will return to the field to harvest the vegetables they planted themselves. This follow-up visit will help reinforce their knowledge about plant life cycles and the science behind how our food grows. It was a fantastic trip full of discovery, curiosity, and muddy boots—well done to all our little farmers in the making!
